Quiet Logistics Delivers for Online Mattress Brand Tuft & Needle
DEVENS, MA, June 24, 2015 –
Quiet Logistics is proud to announce its new role as logistics partner to Tuft & Needle, the innovative online mattress company founded by two former software engineers from Silicon Valley. Tuft & Needle offers premium mattresses at fair prices, with direct delivery and free shipping – making for a more efficient shopping experience and a stress-free night’s sleep.
Quiet Logistics integrated the Arizona-based brand’s inventory into its Devens, MA, warehouse in early May. By the end of the summer, Tuft & Needle in partnership with Quiet will begin offering next-day shipping to New York, Boston and greater New England.
“It normally takes anywhere from six to seven business days to get a 100-pound mattress – a heavy, bulky item – to the customer,” says Evan Maridou, Tuft & Needle’s Head of Operations. “In joining forces with Quiet and giving them some of our inventory, we’ll be able to offer next day shipping in select locations, an extremely impressive feat. And given our Silicon Valley origins, we’re really pleased to have found a logistics partner that’s as technologically minded as we are.”
Says Quiet Logistics CEO Bruce Welty, “Working with Tuft & Needle utilizes our expertise in premium product and our track record in scaling up and meeting demand across the country. We look forward to growing with this innovative brand that’s disrupting the bedding category.”
